Post Falls Veteran's Home

The Post Falls Veterans Home project, built for the Idaho Division of Public Works, features the construction of a new 85,400-square-foot veterans facility located in Post Falls, ID. The project encompasses four homes, totaling 57 beds. Three of these homes will consist of 15 private rooms each, equipped with private bathrooms, while one home will cater specifically to memory care needs and house 12 beds. The homes will also include shared amenities like a common bathing suite, a laundry room, a patio, and den/ day area spaces. Additionally, the facility will incorporate essential features such as a common food preparation area, laundry facilities, maintenance and supply areas, a covered drop-off/pick-up zone, and ample parking. The center will boast common multipurpose spaces, a dining room/canteen, administration offices, and various other common areas for general use. This facility will serve as a transitional residence for injured veterans who have been discharged from hospitals but still require support before fully resuming their regular home life. It will provide a nurturing environment for their recovery and well-being.
