The new Hibbard Elementary School project, built for Madison School District 321 includes the construction of an approximately 57,670 square foot elementary school on a 22-acre site. The facility will serve the growing local community and was funded by a local bond measure. The new, grade K-4 education facility was constructed of a combination of steel, cinder block, and wood; brick veneer, and glass interior; and durable, economical, and sustainable interior finishes throughout. The interior of the building features 26 classrooms as well as a STEAM room, special educations facility, teacher work rooms, a media center, cafeteria, and all other associated spaces. The project features skylights in the media center and cafeteria to support the health and wellbeing of the students.
