About the Project
The Bobcat Fieldhouse was constructed for Madison School District #321 and is the largest K12 indoor sports complex in Idaho. The building and tennis courts total 47,775 SF. The fieldhouse is one building but features two separate structures. One was constructed using a structural steel skeleton and steel siding panels. The south side was built through traditional wood framing. Internally, the building features multi-use artificial turf, indoor tennis courts, batting cages, locker rooms, bathrooms and an indoor track. Nine full sized tennis courts are also featured outside of but right beside the fieldhouse. These courts lie on top of a post tension concrete slab that will prevent cracking and allow the courts to remain in excellent condition for many years.
